Hey guys, sorry I haven't blogged in a while. I started reading a health care reform thread on Ravelry and the sheer boredom of it put me in a coma. I've only just recovered.
I have a little gem for you today which is not directly Ravelry related, but it is online knitting community related. Remember the Yarn Harlot's stalker? If you don't, she blogged about her once and once only here. I've always thought that Stephanie handled this nasty little incident with her usual class and humour and she's obviously moved on since last July. She's never mentioned it again.
The stalker, however, has not moved on. If you have a peek at her Twitter feed here she's still Tweeting almost entirely about the Yarn Harlot and how offended she is by her. She still assumes that every one of YH's tweets are about her. As of today, the Yarn Harlot's latest offence is celebrating Easter with her family, even though she's an atheist and a vegetarian. The funniest thing about this person is that she seems to be suffering from the delusion that a) the Yarn Harlot sees her tweets and b) anyone gives a shit what she thinks. If her tweets weren't so hilariously funny, I'd almost feel a bit sorry for the poor dear. The only followers she has a spambots, and her tweets have the desperate feel of someone shouting in an empty room. I wouldn't bother replying to any of her tweets. It just reinforces her persecution complex. But if you're in a rubbernecking mood, her Twitter feed is gold.
Judging by her tweets that are not about the Yarn Harlot, I'd be feeling pretty nervous if I was Misha Collins (Castiel from "Supernatural"). It looks like she's starting to direct her crazy towards him, too.
